Crafty Partnerships

Are you thinking about ways to increase business for your studio and promote other small local businesses at the same time? Consumer consciousness about supporting local small businesses is on the rise and it presents the perfect opportunity for your studio to partner with other businesses to promote each others goods and services. Here are a few ideas for partnerships:

Partnership Idea #1
The Chic French Pastry Shop

Reach out to your local pastry shop and partner up for a special event at your studio.  Sparkling bubbly, French macaroons and French manicures. Guest can enjoy this special partnership to promote local business in the community for one flat fee.

Partnership #2
The Yoga or Pilates Studio

It makes perfect sense to partner with your local yoga or pilates studio for a special event.  Suggest that guests sign up for a 3 or 4 session at the local yoga studio they can redeem a $10 off coupon for a facial.  You could also go into the yoga studio and offer complimentary skin consultations. There are several ways to make this a win/win for both businesses.

The local farm

Perhaps my favorite is the partnership with local farms. You can partner with local farms to provide snacks for your guest while they wait, if you make handmade scrubs, soaps or candles a fall farmers market day at the studio or at the farm itself is perfect. If you are like me and incorporate some farm fresh goods such as honey and strawberries into your treatments it is another opportunity for partnership.
