Back To School season is officially here! Celebrate the entire month of September with these back to school ideas:
After School Snack Hour
Want a great way to remind your guest of the days of youth. Serve up some after school snacks reminiscent of childhood in your lounge this month. From old school favorites like graham crackers, to more creative ones like the preschool favorite ants on a log. You and your guest can have fun all month long with this theme.
Kid Ruled Retail
Get in the spirit of back to school by featuring kid ruled retail in your boutique. It might be to late to place a large retail order but you can still feature one or two kid inspired products in your lounge with signage that tells guests about the products. Here are a couple of kid inspired products we found that might be easy to incorporate:
In 2011 an entrepreneurial 13-year-old, Hart Main ran with an idea to sell man scented candles. His family buys soups cans, donates them to the local soup kitchen and about two weeks later picks them up to use for the candles. Among ManCans many manly scents are: Grandpa’s Pipe (smells like rich cherry tobacco), Fresh Cut Grass (the smell of freshly cut grass without all the work),
Serve up a little BeeSweet Lemonade in your lounge. Mikaila Ulmer is a social entrepreneur, bee ambassador, educator and student that discovered a love of lemonade at age 9. The lemonade is fresh-squeezed with added Texas wildflower honey, flaxseed and mint. The drink contains locally harvested honey and 20 percent of the proceeds go to organizations that help save honeybees.
Host a fall preview with a local teen fashion or lifestyle blogger . Showcase color trends and services that your boutique offers. This partnership can be a huge gateway to increasing revenue stream with this group.
